How to Manually Remove/Uninstall “PXSS Anti-Spyware” in Windows Operating System
1. Please click Start button-> please move your mouse on Settings section -> enter Control Panel part, then clickAdd or Remove Programs. Or you can also go back to desktop, please right click on XoftSpySE Anti-Spyware shortcut/icon, then choose Properties item at the bottom of menu. You will see Shortcut tab for XoftSpySE application. After that, please press “Find Target…” button, you please then press “U” key to quickly locate, and then press Enter to run XoftSpySE Installer. Moreover, you can also enter Start -> Programs -> enter XoftSpySE item -> right click it to find and run XoftSpySE Installer -> the rests of steps are the same as what we have just informed. 2. Please then firstly get and confirm "Support Info" by clicking "Click here for support information" button in “PXSS Anti-Spyware” before you start to uninstall it, which will tell you the Publisher of the software(ParetoLogic, Inc), and the Verison(7.0.1.0) you had installed in system. Yes? Please then click Close button to quit "Support Info" window, and then you can press Change/Remove button at the end of XoftSpySE portion.
3. In the next pop-up ad from “PXSS Anti-Spyware” auto Uninstall procedure, Please press Uninstall button in blue. Then you need to go on with pressing Uninstall button, at that time, you can also click Show details to get more info about XoftSpySE Uninstall: a Microsoft prompt command will be run to stop XoftSpy service; a Thank You page will be open as well requiring that your PC is connected to the network. Then you can press Close option to shut down XoftSpySE Uninstall box and the Dial-up Connection window.
4. Please then reboot your device.
5. When you enter desktop again, please navigate to My Computer -> Tools menu -> Folder Options.
6. Please then open View tab, then look into “Advanced settings” portion and then please choose “Show hiden files and folders” and uncheck “Hide protected operating system files(Recommended)” option – then you may be popped by Windows that “You have chosen to display protected system files(files labled System and Hidden) in Windows Explorer. …”, please choose Yes option and close that alert. Then please press Apply button and then the OK button to shut down Folder Options window.
7. Please click Start button, open Search option, please then enter “For Files or Folders …” part to delete/uninstall “PXSS Anti-Spyware” files that left in system.
8. Please then click “All files and folders” portion, then please type or copy “XoftSpySE” or ““PXSS Anti-Spyware”” as the search keywords in the first blank, saying that “All or part of the file name“. And check the first three of “More advanced options” part to strengthen “Search system folders” fields: “Search system folders“, “Search hiden files and folders” and “Search subfolders“. Then you can press Search option to start auto system search for “PXSS Anti-Spyware” files that still remained in your system. At last system will tell you that files related to XOFTSPY software located in C:WINDOWSPrefetch shown as follow.
9. And to delete those "XOFTSPY .pf" files remained in Windows Prefetch folder, you just need to choose all of the "XOFTSPY" files and then right click them, run and then choose Delete option(press Yes button telling you that “Confirm Multiple File Delete” window) to remove "XOFTSPY .pf" files. Then please close Search Results window.
10. Please then open Recycle Bin, please locate and choose one or all of "XOFTSPY .pf" files to ascertain ParetoLogic XoftSpySE Properties stored by Windows, then press OK button to quit that Properties box. To completely remove/uninstall “PXSS Anti-Spyware”, you then please choose all of them and then run "Empty Recycle Bin" command in File menu.
11. And to remove/ uninstall “PXSS Anti-Spyware” values, data and keys that still stored in Registry, please type/copy "regedit" in Run item in Start menu, then please choose OK button to run it. You can also click "Windows logo + R" key to open Windows Registry.
12. Please then continue to click “Ctrl”+ “F” keys several times, including Keys, Values, and Data sub-options chosen, or you can also copy part or all of ““PXSS Anti-Spyware”” as the search terms to completely remove/uninstall them. Or you can also visit and open “Find…” part on Edit option.
13. You can discover and then delete many more other “PXSS Anti-Spyware” keys, Values, and/or Data by using the same search terms we informed above.
